HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
Graduate with purpose and confidence.
Hosanna Christian Academy’s High School program prepares students in grades 9–12 for success in college, careers, and Christian service. Through rigorous academics, biblical instruction, leadership development, and personalized guidance, students develop the knowledge, character, and confidence needed to pursue their goals and make a positive difference in their communities.

Our College and Career Readiness curriculum offers advanced academic opportunities, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses and dual-enrollment options through affiliations with respected colleges and universities such as the University of South Florida (USF). These programs allow qualified students to complete college-level coursework, explore potential careers, and—in applicable courses—earn college credit while completing high school graduation requirements.
Students also participate in college-preparatory programs designed to strengthen their academic skills and prepare them for the SAT, ACT, and PERT. College and career guidance helps students explore postsecondary options, understand admissions requirements, select appropriate courses, and develop plans aligned with their academic and professional goals.
Community service is an important part of the Hosanna Christian Academy experience. Through service projects and outreach opportunities, students learn leadership, compassion, responsibility, and the importance of using their God-given gifts to help others. These experiences strengthen students’ character while helping them become responsible citizens and Christ-centered leaders.
Our small and supportive learning environment allows teachers and school leaders to provide individualized attention throughout each student’s high school journey. By combining strong academics, college and career preparation, Christian mentorship, and service, Hosanna Christian Academy equips graduates to enter college, the workforce, and adult life with purpose and confidence.
High School Graduation Requirements
To earn a high school diploma from Hosanna Christian Academy, students must successfully complete one of the following graduation pathways:
24-Credit Standard High School Diploma
The traditional four-year pathway requires at least 24 credits in required core academic areas and electives. A foreign-language credit is not required for this HCA diploma pathway; however, two credits in the same foreign language are strongly recommended for college preparation and are generally required for admission to Florida’s state universities.
18-Credit Fast College Track Program (FCTP)
This accelerated three-year pathway is intended for motivated students with clear postsecondary goals. It requires three elective credits instead of eight, does not require physical education or online-course credits, and emphasizes rigorous coursework. At least six credits must be earned through designated rigorous-level courses, and students complete two credits in the same foreign language to meet minimum Florida state university admission standards.
Selecting a Graduation Pathway
Students and parents receive information explaining both diploma pathways upon enrollment in middle or high school. The 18-credit pathway may be selected during grades 9–12; however, students and parents must meet with the school’s academic leadership and guidance personnel to review its requirements, benefits, and potential limitations. Written parental consent is required unless the student is at least 18 years old.
